    Position: Community Food Market Coordinator
    Reports to: Executive Director, Cedar Cottage Food Network
    Organization: Cedar Cottage Food Network Society
    Location: Vancouver, BC

    Hourly Wage: $18/hr

    Hours: Approximately 35 hours per month. Market Days include the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month (8am to 5pm) and the 4th Thursday of the month (11am to 7pm) with some hours for special events, meetings and other programs. This is subject to change, with market dates in 2019 likely every Saturday.

    Organizational Mandate: The Cedar Cottage Food Network Society (CCFN) is an independent, non-profit organization working toward more sustainable and just food systems at the neighbourhood level. We create space for Kensington-Cedar Cottage residents to take part in different levels of food systems by providing programming, tools, and opportunities for community connections.

    Description of Position: The community food market program operates two Saturdays and one Thursday of the month to bring accessible and fresh produce to members of the Kensington-Cedar Cottage neighbourhood. The Market Coordinator is responsible for the running of the mobile markets every month as well as support in various events and programs such as harvest festivals, workshops and kids camps as needed. This position includes set-up and take-down of market supplies, produce orders, produce pick-up, handling cash, customer service and volunteer supervision.

    Request for proposal: Website Development & Organizational Branding

    Organization: Strathcona Community Centre Association

    Organizational Mandate: Strathcona Community Centre Association is a registered Canadian charity; we are a multi-service centre that provides city standard recreation, social and community outreach services with an emphasis on health promotion to residents of the Strathcona neighbourhood and the DTES.

    Project Scope: Strathcona Community Centre Association is seeking to develop our website to provide a more consistent, informative and engaging experience for its visitors. The websites, including design and content, will undergo significant redesign and reorganization. The design should be visually appealing, engaging, in plain language, have a unified look and feel, and provide easy navigation throughout. We also seek to use the website as way to actively inform clients, our community and agency partners about the scope of the work done at SCCA. It should provide a friendly environment which emphasizes access to the general public, funders, service providers and all staff.
